18-04-2026-Tsapi-Marathi-Tsapi

We will start this walk from the Tsapi camping parking lot, the one on the left.
We will enjoy magnificent views on beaches and bays throughout this walk. The road is difficult for cars and therefore empty and ideal for the Freewalkers.
Then we will descend to the isolated Marathi beach for a banana break.
At the end we can stop at the Taverna Tsapi to drink something together and who want can eat. 

The return leg of this walk is quite challenging as it is almost all uphill and, in some sections, steep.
Good physical condition is therefore required.

The chronicle of today

A splendid sunny day welcomed 29 Freewalkers at the meeting point in Tsapi.
Although this walk is short, it offers stunning views of the sea and the surrounding islands all along the route.
After a brief stop at the enchanting Marathi beach, we stopped for our banana break in a lovely little bay on the way back.
At the end, we met up at the Tsapi Tavern where, with a magical view of the beach and the sea in front of us where we all had a drink together and several of us took the opportunity to enjoy the excellent specialities that the Tsapi Tavern always serves.
See you next Saturday, the 25th of April, at 10 am along the road at the entry of the Evangelismós village.
