Agios Andreas from the harbour
We start at 9 am in Agios Andreas from the harbour (where the boats can enter the water) and walk along the beach.
We cross the main road and walk to Neratzi. From Neratzia we walk to Logga and from there we walk back to Agios Andreas.
We will have a beautiful view of the landscape and the Messinian Gulf.
Between Neratzia and Logga we have our 'banana break'.
After the walk we can have a drink at tavern Petrino in Agios Andreas.
The chronicle of today
Today, on a wonderful sunny day, 42 people gathered at the harbor of Agios Andreas to join us for a walk up the mountain to Neritza and Longa, through olive and orange groves with views of the sea.
Even early in the morning, the temperatures were summery without a breeze, which we only enjoyed around midday to cool a little bit off.
The walk was very beautiful, not too strenuous, but challenging due to the intense sun and little cooling shade.
At the end, we all looked forward to a cool drink at the Petrino Taverna in Agios Andreas.
See you next Saturday, 14th of June at the Kleisoura walk with lunch.
