We start at the parking at the beach of Methoni.
We then walk up into the hills and toward the deserted village of Neroula.
We have beautiful views of the harbour of Methoni. Banana break at the church of Agios Konstantinos.
Afterwards we can have a drink at the plateia near the beach in Methoni.

The chronicle of today

Today 8 Freewalkers gathered at the parking lot of the beach in Methoni. Despite the weather forecast the walking conditions were actually very good. The start of the walk was slightly delayed because we had to feed the local cats.
We walked along the castle with nice views of the rough coastline, across the road and into the hills. A sunny walk all the way up to Neroula, the abandoned village. We had our banana break at the church of Agios Konstantinos.
From there we walked down back to the beach of Methoni. Again lots of sunshine so we could enjoy our drinks outside on the terrace of the square.
Next week we start in Koroni at 10 am. We hope to see you all there.
