21-10-2023 Kalamaki-Mathia-Vighla

We start at 10am in Kalamaki from Villa Kox. It is still difficult to cross the road. But we can manage it, like always. Slowly we walk uphill, may be the first 5km, not very steep. Our first stop is in Mathia at the big church. Then we continue direction south, always on good tracks. We can easily walk and at the same time we can enjoy this fantastic view to the sea, the Mani, the mountains and also to our coast. The path leads us now downhill. Next stop is in Vighla, short photo stop at the Chapel, next and last stop at the big church. The last 3km are more then easy, believe me.

In Kalamaki we can have a nice drink. Everything will be well organised. Walkability : about 13.5km

Good tracks, sometimes little bit with stones, stick can be helpfull.

We have to walk about 500m high up.
