Charakopio car-park
We start from the big carpark in Charakopio and walk in the direction of Potamia, later on we walk to Falanthi. We pass the small village and have a stop at the church.
Then we walk back through the olive groves to Charakopio.
During the walk we will have a beautiful view of the mountains of Taygetos. We will have mostly good hiking trails that are easy to walk.
After the walk we can have a drink at the Arazó Tavern in Charakopio.

The chronicle of today
We’re close to the end of October, but the temperatures here remain pleasant, and a blue sky with bright sunshine welcomed 55 Freewalkers and two friendly dogs today.
It was a lovely walk through the hills surrounding Charakopio, passing by olive groves and vineyards. The scenery offered us alternating views of the sea and the surrounding countryside.
At the end, we all met up for a drink at the ΑΡΑΖΩ Kafenion in Charakopio where Cristina and her staff prepared a nice long table for all of us.
