We will start at 10 am in Akritochori, then head from Kaplani to Yameia, where we’ll stop for our banana-breack.
From Yameia, we’ll walk to the chapel of Agios Dimitrios, stopping briefly to enjoy the view of Finikounda Bay.
Afterwards, we’ll walk back to Akritochori and we’ll enjoy all together a drink at the Kafenion Akritochori.

The chronicle of today
A very beautiful walk, perfectly organized.
52 motivated walkers set off punctually towards Kaplani.
Later then, the trail climbed briskly, and a break was planned in Yamia.
As a surprise, the people of Yamia opened their small, charming local history museum.
Many thanks are in order!
The large group was warmly welcomed by most of the other hikers, because: hearing 52 cheerful, upbeat voices is always a treat.
You don't often hear so much good cheer.
See you next Saturday, 10th of October at 10 am at Anemomilos Beach in Finikounda.
