We start from Kokkino bus station in a southerly direction through an unknown valley. Then we arrive a well known path up to Paneika.
We will pass the church of Paneika and search the footpath to the main road.
We will cross this main road and walk through the lovely valley uphill to Kokkino. It is not an easy and not a difficult walk, it's in the middle and of course a good one.
After the walk everybody is welcome to join us for a nice meal in Maria's great private home. Wild boar stifado, meze, salad.......and her famous Lukumades.
In case of bad weather, we will in any case meet at 1 p.m. at the meeting point and go to eat.

The chronicle of today
Today, 18 Freewalkers gathered in Kokkino.
The weather was uncertain, but in the end there was more sun than clouds.
It was a pleasant walk in the middle of nature with a couple of passages where the vegetation took over and a few steeper climbs than usual.
However, the Freewalkers tackled the route with determination and were rewarded at the end with a delicious lunch at Maria's private home who prepared some Meze before and her wonderful wild boar stew with spring onions. The lunch was ending with her famous Loukoumades as dessert.
It is always a pleasure to meet up at Maria's home.
