12-04-2025 - From Mesochorie to lovely Ripena

A walk in the beautiful, still unspoiled, countryside.
It's a 13 km walk with some steep parts: a hike that requires a bit of energie, most on wide, dirt tracks who can be muddy after rainfall.
This is walk nr.3 from the book "Endaxi? ...."

 The chronicle of today
On this sunny day 30 persons (+3 dogs) met in Mesochorie for a 13km walk through the beautiful area. It was windy, but very clear and we had nice views. Nature is at his best at this time of the year with overwhelming colors and scents.
There were several stops to keep everyone together, there was a small break near Nectar Cottage (at the highest point) and the main break took place at the peacefull chapel Zoödogos Pigi in Ripena.
Back in Mesochorie we had drinks in Bibi's kafenion.
