03.10.2026-Akritochori

We will start at 10 am in Akritochori, then head from Kaplani to Yameia, where we’ll stop for our banana-breack.
From Yameia, we’ll walk to the chapel of Agios Dimitrios, stopping briefly to enjoy the view of Finikounda Bay.
Afterwards, we’ll walk back to Akritochori and we’ll enjoy all together a drink at the Kafenion Akritochori.

 The chronicle of today

At 6 pm 27 free walkers and 1 dog gathered at the meeting point Caribian Beach Bar at Chrani.
It was a beautiful walk with, fortunately, no rain.
The return trip was stunning, instead of the full moon, a tornado appeared over the sea.
We could as well admire breathtaking cloud formations.
We got back just in the right moment.
Ifigenia and her husband opened the bar especially for us, so we enjoyed a nice beer and other drinks before the rain started.
The promised moon did appear, but only after we left. Nevertheless, it has been an exciting walk with a fantastic experience.
