Tsapi parking lot

We will start this walk from the Tsapi camping parking lot, the one on the left.
We will enjoy magnificent views on beaches and bays throughout this walk. The road is difficult for cars and therefore empty and ideal for the Freewalkers.
Then we will descend to the isolated Marathi beach for a banana break.
At the end we can stop at the Taverna Tsapi to drink something together and who want can eat.

The return leg of this walk is quite challenging as it is almost all uphill and, in some sections, steep.
Good physical condition is therefore required.

The chronicle of today

Finally, after two cancellations due to high temperatures, we were able to resume our walks today.
A lovely sunny morning – though not too hot – welcomed 30 Freewalkers and a four-legged mascot at the car park by the Tsapi tavern.
This is always a charming walk, offering beautiful views of the splendid sea below and the islands.
During the banana break, some of us took the opportunity to cool off with a dip in the sea.
The stop at Marathi beach never fails to leave everyone speechless with its beauty.
At the end, we met up again at the Tsapi tavern for a drink together, and some took the opportunity to try Maria’s delicious cooking.
See you next Saturday, 26th September, at 6.30 pm at the Caribbean Beach Bar in Chrani for the full-moon walk, followed by dinner.
