At the church in Zizani

Day walk starts at 10 am from the church in Zizani, heading towards Kleisoura and Exochiko.
It takes us through beautiful landscapes.
We hike through a valley towards Kleisoura, then across a lovely plain, past olive groves, and uphill to Exochiko.
From there, we walk a short distance along the main road and then turn left onto the pleasant hiking trail back to Zizani.
There are beautiful views of the outback along the way, away from the beaches.
We'll take a break in Kleisoura.
After the walk we can all enjoy a drink at the Kafenion in Zizani.
Good footwear is required as some sections are rocky.

The chronicle of today
Uncertain weather conditions greeted 27 Freewalkers in Zizani.
It was a lovely walk through the surrounding hills, which was at times challenging but never posed any real problems.
The weather was kind and, despite little sunshine, it never rained until we gathered in the cosy Kafenion in Zizani for a drink together.
By then, the rain was no longer a problem but leaving the place we were welcome by have rain.
We’ll meet in Vasilitsi next Saturday, 21st of March, at 10 am, when, according to the calendar, spring is due to begin. Hope so……
