10-08-2024-Neromilos river walk

One of our most beautiful hikes is the river hike in Neromilos. Every year in August the village festival takes place in Neromilos, first we hike and then we celebrate. So it's a double pleasure. Every spring, volunteers work on the hiking trail, build small bridges, renew safety railings and clear the paths.
And unfortunately in winter time the small river tears almost everything down again.
But the men don't give up, it's just too nice to hike there in the hot summer months.
A big compliment to the residents of Neromilos.
We freewalkers love also to come.
The event is organized by the Association “Friends of the Karya River” with the president of the association and the village, Dimitris Dimitropoulos!
On August 10th, the hike starts at around 6:30 p.m.
The meeting point is at the bus stop in the village.
